I am currently working on my BFA in Sculpture at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I like to integrate my experiences from graphic design and ceramics into my sculptural work. More recently, I have been exploring the digital side of sculpture through the use of three dimensional printers and Computer Numerical Controlled machines, discovering their limits and what is possible in the realm. Experimentation, exploration of materials, and story telling are key components of my every day practice. These tendencies have naturally facilitated my involvement in community youth programs, and theatre.
I grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and currently live and work in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My future aspirations include exotic travels, and becoming a millionaire so I can save the world and buy my high school art teacher the yellow Ferrarri I promised her.
