These photos are documentation of a performance that Katy Vonk and I put on in downtown Minneapolis. The performance was in response to our research done on Joseph Beuys, a 1960s German artist most well-known for his ritualistic public performances, his energetic championing of the healing potential of art, and the power of a universal human creativity. Ideas that encompass this performance include Art = Capital and Everyone's an Artist, both being central theories to Beuys' life and work. Photos courtesy of Karl Zinsmaster.
